ABOUT COMPASSION RESPONSE NETWORK

PURPOSE

Humanity has itself caused the vast problems afflicting humanity, and so only through the collective awakening of humanity can these problems be solved.

In the twentieth century, the pathway to solution for all these vast problems has been lifted up and freely disseminated for all who seek to find such solutions.

And yet at the end of the twentieth century, the great material and separative divides between the peoples, nations, races, ethnic groups and religions are greater than ever before. Today humanity stands upon a precipice.

Unless the theory of unity is slowly turned into practice, and the word "united" can come to have a true significance and meaning, the exponentially increasing separative divides afflicting humanity will in a very short time lead to mega systems failures across our beloved planet.

The one hope for humanity is revealed in the Affirmation of Goodwill thus;

"The only way to guarantee a future of peace and progress for the whole human race is for enough men and women of goodwill to accept responsibility for the establishing of right relations, and to work actively with the principles of unity and goodwill."

The ideals for solution to humanity's many and vast problems are hindered from manifesting into practice through two major factors, inertia and lack of finances for the true work. The first of these factors must be balanced through facilitating and enabling men and women of goodwill to provide a direct compassionate response to urgent need throughout the world. Thus Compassion Response Network has adopted as its Mission Statement;

"To facilitate the emergence of a goodwill network in which the hands of men and women of goodwill are strengthened so that they become enabled to directly provide a meaningful compassionate response to the most urgent needs of humanity."

To balance the second of these major problems, lack of finances for the true work, Compassion Response Network has become registered as a non-profit public company and charitable organisation dedicated to the progressive development and actualisation of its Mission Statement. Compassion Response Network accepts the responsibility for administering a Compassion Response Network Fund, which shall be used exclusively in pursuance of its objectives of funding projects that directly provide a meaningful compassionate response to some of the most urgent needs of humanity, together with incidental costs of management of a charitable organisation.

It is an awesome responsibility to administer such a fund. Accordingly Compassion Response Network unconditionally affirms the principles of goodwill, inclusiveness and world unity. Members seek to attune to God's Plan and the most urgent needs of humanity through a meditation of synthesis, and to anchor its high ideals through people's participation using the science of sociocracy.

Compassion Response Network adopts total compliance with the principles of openness and accountability in accordance with the highest ethical standards as are warranted for an international charitable aid organisation.

HISTORY

Compassion Response Network is founded upon the spiritual principles lifted up through the inspirational writings of Alice Bailey, and the activities of World Goodwill and Lucis Trust.

In the northern spring of 1993 a war of unprecedented hatred, bloodshed and violence broke out in Bosnia. How can such beautiful ideals for solving humanity's problems as lifted up by Lucis Trust and many other spiritually oriented groups, become anchored in reality to offset the insanity of such unrestrained violence? There was clearly a need to communicate the principles of goodwill, world unity and group participation through service to the many throughout the world who normally do not have access to such information.

Sergei Belkovsky of Russia, in a letter to David Keane of Australia discussed the urgent need to establish a free goodwill newsletter to link servers for goodwill in Russia with servers for goodwill in the West (USA, West Europe, Australia etc). Shortly afterwards David Keane committed to editing, publishing and globally distributing a goodwill newsletter that was printed in three languages, English, Russian and French.

The East West Network Newsletter was published and globally disseminated for free once a year from 1994 to 1998. It was provided free so that it could be sent to the many in poorer countries who normally do not have access to such information. The newsletter was sponsored through David Keane's own disability pension, and to a lesser extent through donations. But as the popularity and costs of distribution increased, the donations did not match, and so the newsletter had to stop for reasons of limited finances.

Following the collapse of the newsletter in 1998, three members of East West Network, David Keane, Sergei Belkovsky and Albert Mananga of the Democratic Republic of Congo, meditated upon how to resurrect the spiritual work of East West Network. Always, the creative work upon the outer field, must begin with the esoteric work. How could we establish such practical goodwill activity that attracts financial sponsorship from men and women of goodwill?

In meditation, we discovered that we must listen to the invocative call of humanity in need and the men and women of goodwill. Which goodwill activities are the men and women of goodwill telling us they want to donate towards? Two answers came back; education in living principles and true values and free basic healing treatment for the poorest of the poor.

So it was that with no financial resources, we prayed for the provision of two healing devices, zappers and colloidal silver makers to service groups in poorer nations. Through God's grace, the finances came and we were able in 1999 to construct and distribute free healing kits to about thirty service groups in poorer nations. Some of these groups used the devices to provide free healing treatment to the community. The effectiveness of such free treatment, particularly for infectious diseases such as malaria, (free for the patient but requiring small amounts of sponsorship of the service group in the poor nation) inspired us in the year 2001 to sponsor the treatment and blood tests of three AIDS patients in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The results were positive but only partial, because we could only afford finances for one month of treatment and blood tests.

These results were published on a healing website in October 2001 (link), together with an invitation to form a Compassion Response Network. The Compassion Response Network would develop as a public company and charitable organisation with high standards of openness and accountability. The initial challenge for the Compassion Response Network would be to raise the funds to do a comparative treatment and testing project to compare blood test results over 6 months of treatment for at least 6 reputably effective treatments for AIDS.

FORMATION OF COMPASSION RESPONSE NETWORK

The invitation to form a Compassion Response Network was disseminated over Internet on 25/October/2001, simultaneously with the Internet publication of the results for the 2001 AIDS project in Kinshasa (link). By December 2001, five founding members agreed to form a committee, that we called the Inner Planning Circle, for the management of the Compassion Response Network. Founding members were David Keane, Sergei Belkovsky, Albert Mananga, Marielle Jansen and John Buck. Though united in common aspiration, we were scattered geographically around the world and had to communicate principally through email.

Our task would be to follow through major problems of humanity from the initial intuitive building of a thoughtform of solution through to manifesting and implementing that solution in practice.

On the one hand we would as a group attune to some of the most important problems of humanity using a meditation of synthesis and developing practical pathways of response. Then we would anchor this avenue of service upon the practical level using the science of sociocracy, while facilitates scientific organisational management in a fully participatory manner.

Throughout the year 2002 the Inner Planning Circle was involved in matters of planning and preparation. We adopted a Vision, Mission Statement and other Objectives that would permit expansion into many fields of service as our network grew.

To begin with we needed to focus upon one Main Aim to manifest during the year 2003. That Main Aim involved the treatment, medical supervision and blood testing over 6 months of at least three advanced AIDS patients, for each of 9 simple, cheap and reputably effective alternative treatments for AIDS. We would remain detached from the results simply facilitating a scientific survey and then openly publishing and comparing results. The projects would be funded by the general community who would be invited to participate.

REGISTRATION AS A PUBLIC COMPANY & CHARITABLE ORGANISATION

Once the Vision, Mission Statement and Other Objectives were clearly defined, our Inner Planning Circle drafted a constitution for registration as a public company. An application for registration as a public company was lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, who on 23/December/2002 confirmed the official registration in Western Australia of Compassion Response Network as a public company limited by guarantee, with official Australian Company Number = 103 240 071.

David Keane was nominated as the secretary of Compassion Response Network. The registered office is at 29B Percy St, Gosnells 6110, Western Australia. The office is open business days Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9am to noon, and Tuesday, Thursday from 2pm to 5pm.

DIRECTORS

David Keane, born 12/July/1947 in Adelaide, Australia. Director and Secretary of Compassion Response Network

David developed total kidney failure and since 1989 has been on renal dialysis three times a week. He has since retired from his former public service clerical work, and was granted a disability retirement pension. David was editor of East West Network Newsletter, published annually from 1994 to 1998. This newsletter focussed on goodwill, global unity, sharing, meditation and group service, and was distributed free in both English and Russian and later French. The intention of the newsletter was to provide information on these subjects that many in poorer nations do not have access to. The newsletter was financed through donations and David's disability pension.

David has written a book, Civil Representation in Australian Government, and has translated from the Russian the book by Yuri Gorbunov of Ukraine, An Esotericist's Journey in America. Both of these books can be accessed and downloaded for free from David's home page at http://www.nw.com.au/~keane/

In 1999, David together with other Australian members of East West Network, constructed healing kits consisting of a Dr Hulda Clark zapper and a colloidal silver maker, designed for Third World conditions. These were distributed free to about 30 service groups in poorer nations throughout the world. Several of these groups, mainly in Africa, took the initiative of providing free healing treatment to the poor, especially for the many with infectious diseases. Preliminary trials on HIV/AIDS patients in Kinshasa in 2001 were so impressive that David published the results on his personal healing site, also available through his home page. On this site was presented a vision of forming a Compassion Response Network, to provide free medical treatment and treatments for AIDS with scientific testing and comparative assessment of alternative treatments for AIDS. Compassion Response Network gathered together a pioneering group to develop its objectives in November 2001, and was formally registered as an Australian company with charitable objectives on 23/December/2002. Two more extensive articles on David's service background can be found at www.nw.com.au/~keane/synthesis/EJA/ and go to Part 1, Chapters 5 and 6

Albert Mananga was born on 29/November/1957 in Brazzaville, Congo and was educated and now serves in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. He is a director of Compassion Response Network.

Albert graduated in philosophy and in University and Secondary Teaching at Catholic Faculties of Kinshasa in 1986, and has since served as a professor of philosophy. He graduated in advanced studies in Philosophy at the University of Kinshasa in 1996.

He has representational status at the Economic Commission for Africa (United Nations). He is a member of the Independent Electoral commission in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and is a Master of Public Conferences, having given many public conferences since 1989.

Albert has dedicated his life with goodwill work and to improve the life, particularly the poor, in the Congo. He has founded the Kinshasa Service Group which is dedicated to serving the people of the Congo. He collaborates with many national and international organisations, notably the Institute for Planetary Synthesis based in Geneva (www.ipsgeneva.com), an international organisation promoting education, culture and spiritual values.

He also collaborates with " The Monastery of the Carmes Hermits of the Desert", a catholic monastery in his country on the coast of Muanda, founded by the Father Pakhaf (fmocedj@yahoo.fr). There he helps the monastery for some practical duties, and is chancellor of the university being established there.

Together with the Missionary Congregation of Scheut's Fathers (www.missionhurst.org), he helped establish an organization for the defense of human rights named "Les Compagnons de Scheut ", in which Albert helped with public relations and editing and writing for a magazine called "Le justiciable" which defended human rights.

Since 1995, Albert has been closely cooperating with David Keane through East West Network, which provided an international network for education and support of people in poorer nations. Since 1999, Albert's group has been providing free health services, particularly for infectious diseases such as malaria using alternative treatments of the zapper (invented by Dr Hulda Clark) and colloidal silver solution. People in the Congo are generally too poor to visit doctors or pay for medication.

During the years 2001 and 2002, the Kinshasa group together with East West Network initiated a project to provide alternative treatments for people with AIDS. Though working on a very limited budget, the results were so impressive that they were published on Internet (www.nw.com.au/~keane/healing/) This project inspired the more comprehensive projects now being planned by Compassion Response Network.

The Kinshasa Service Group is also active in other fields;

Geraldene Cockcroft was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. Director of Compassion Response Network and Director and co-manager of PNI Empowerment Trust in Zimbabwe.

Geraldene Cockcroft and Jonathan Wakeling, directors and co-managers of PNI Empowerment Trust

Geraldene holds diplomas in business management and specialist beauty therapy. She graduated in oral communication, and physiology and anatomy. She owned and ran Elizabeth Joll Beauty Salon, and then for the past dozen years owned and ran a craft and textile business and has had exhibits in International Trade Fairs in UK, Germany and France.

Geraldene became a PNI Practitioner in 1997, and in 1998 a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming held in London and certified by Richard Bandler the originator of NLP. She is a Reiki Master, holds diplomas in emotional freedom therapy, family therapy and systemic counseling and has a partial degree in hypnosis and hypnotherapy and is registered with the National Guild of Hypnotherapy USA 1997

PNI stands for psycho-neuro-immunology. PNI has a huge body of research in the USA. The PNI Empowerment Trust in Harare has a board of 12 Trustees, and over 30 Goodwill Ambassadors from all walks of life that provide their input and expertise.

PNI Empowerment Trust focuses on personal empowerment and psycho-neuro-immunology. It holds 2 and 4 day experiential workshops, training, presentations, counseling and imparts information. HIV and the possibility of long term survival using PNI, nutrition etc is a large focus of the work. A lot of the work is with the poor. It holds immune enhancement workshops mainly attended by nurses, doctors and people in the health field. It does Positive Health presentations, involving stress and grief work, in other words enhancing the immune system. It prints and distributes an amazing book called 'Positive Health', written by an organisation in South Africa. PNI Empowerment Trust has done much television and radio work, and has put together, with a local drama group from a high density area a brilliant play on Positive Health in the local Shona language.

With the recent economic downturn in Zimbabwe and the ruin of the tourist industry, her craft and textile business together with PNI in Zimbabwe are finding it extremely difficult to survive financially. Geraldene and Dr Margaret Taruninga in Harare are both extremely impressed with the alternative treatments, and wish to help facilitate a comparative treatments trial in Harare.
